since 2000
Forum European Cultural Exchanges
Forum European Cultural Exchanges was founded in 2000 as a permanent and ongoing platform for the development and promotion of European cultural exchanges –with emphasis on Southeastern Europe- aiming towards the support and diffusion of contemporary artistic creation. In addition to annual conferences and meetings where art professionals discuss certain aspects of contemporary artistic creation, Forum brings the public closer to a wide spectrum of challenging contemporary art, through original exhibitions.
Forum is the result of a complicated and multiple cultural network that was founded in Thessaloniki in 2000. Dimitris Konstantinidis and Christos Savvidis are responsible for organising Forum, while the programming is done in collaboration with the Forum Planning Committee, who are Denys Zacharopoulos and Efi Strousa.
FORUM organised the Artists-in-Residence Program (F.A.R.) from 2005 until 2008. For details press here.
Founding members and coordinators:
Dimitris Konstantinidis (Apollonia, Strasbourg) & Christos Savvidis (ArtBOX.gr)
Planning Committee:
Efi Strousa, Denys Zacharopoulos
