Forum European
Cultural Exchanges, is a permanent and ongoing platform for the
development and promotion of European cultural exchanges –with emphasis
on Southeastern Europe- aiming towards the support and diffusion of
contemporary artistic creation.
In addition to annual conferences and meetings that bring together art
professionals to discuss on certain aspects of contemporary artistic
creation, Forum brings the public closer to a wide spectrum of
challenging contemporary art, through original exhibitions.
Forum is the result of a complicated and multiple cultural network that
was founded in Thessaloniki in 2000. Dimitris Konstantinidis and
Christos Savvidis are responsible for organizing Forum, while the
programming of the events is done in collaboration with the Forum
Planning Committee, who are Denis Zacharopoulos and Efi
Strousa.
FORUM, in
collaboration with the Cultural Organization of the Municipalty of Kalamaria,
is responsible for the Artist In Residence Program (FAR). For details
